CANSHIELD SA150AL Modified Bitumen Membrane
CANSHIELDTM 150AL is a 1.5mm self-adhered, SBS-modified bitumen membrane for use in approved waterproofing assemblies. CANSHIELDTM 150AL is composed of a proprietary formulation of elastomeric styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) polymer modified bitumen blend. The topside is surfaced with an Al/PET composites film facer for exceptional tensile strength and surface smoothness. The underside is surfaced with a silicone release film that is removed during application.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION & FEATURES:
CANSHIELDTM 150AL is a 1.5mm self-adhered, SBS-modified bitumen membrane for use in approved waterproofing assemblies. CANSHIELDTM 150AL is composed of a proprietary formulation of elastomeric styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) polymer modified bitumen blend. The topside is surfaced with an Al/PET composites film facer for exceptional tensile strength and surface smoothness. The underside is surfaced with a silicone release film that is removed during application.
Basic USES:
CANSHIELDTM 150AL can be applied to non-exposed course, underground and indoor engineering of various buildings, as well as waterproofing works such as open-excavation subways, tunnels, pools, and canals, especially for waterproofing works that open flames are not allowed.
APPLICATION:
Prior to installation, unroll CANSHIELDTM 150 AL onto the deck and allow to relax. Place CANSHIELDTM 150AL in desired position and back roll the product. Apply approved adhesive or primer following manufacturer specifications. CANSHIELDTM 150AL is then placed into the adhesive or primer and rolled with a weighted roller to ensure adhesion.

Limitation:
Do not apply to contaminated, wet, or damp surfaces.

STORAGE:
Store rolls in an upright position to prevent damage. Store in a clean, dry location and cover as necessary to protect from environmental damage such as extreme cold, heat or moisture.
