MBP Pro,a Professional waterproofing membrane developed for below grade slabs and confined sites of behind basement walls.

Product Description

MBP Pro waterproofing membrane is a special composite sheet comprised of a robust HDPE or TPO layer, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and a special protective layer applied to protect adhesive layer from external factors. Thanks to this feature, it is a professional waterproofing membrane in the composite structure which does not allow water to move between the reinforced concrete structure and membrane. The membrane has two sided bonding overlaps.

Material thickness:

2 mm, 1.7 mm, 1.5 mm and 1.2 mm

Packing:

1 x 20 mt in rolls and 2 x 20 mt

Applications:

It is used for waterproofing of reinforced concrete foundation and blind mold (single face) foundation walls of buildings.

System Components:

• Canlon MBP Pro 2.00 mm, 1.7 mm, 1.5 mm and 1.2 mm membrane

• Canlon MBP Pro Duble Sided Tape (sealed double-sided adhesive tape for tip finishing joints)

• Canlon MBP Pro Sanded Tape (mineral sand-coated tape that adheres to the structural concrete that is sealed on one side and on top of it)

Application Method:

The surface where MBP Pro is to be applied must be solid and smooth. The application surface may be damp, but no puddles. In order to prevent damage to the membrane, the application surface must be smooth and clean. Large openings and voids should be filled using materials with the required strength.

To ensure good adhesion, the joints must be tightened with a roller. Roll finish edges should be taped with MBP Double Tape in corner and piece combinations. In the production of single face curtains, it is necessary to create a smooth bottom surface without spaces.

Application details:

The MBP Pro membrane must always be applied to the grain-shaped surface. Membrane is applied on the cleaned surface and application is started. Hot air welding machine can be used to soften the edge adhesive at low temperatures.

Double Sided Wall Applications:

In the production of double face curtains, after the use of MBP Pro in the basic insulation, it can be sealed with bitumen cement based, polyurethane and polyurea based driving or spraying systems with special transition band.

Pile Head Detail:

Pile heads should be broken and cleaned. After the loose parts are removed from the surface surface, the product of Canlon MBP Pro can be adhered to each other by a Double Tape and applied around the pile to serve as a mold. After the application of the tapes expanding with water to the repair area of the piles, high strength grout mortars or cement based crystallized waterproofing products are applied to the pile which is corrected with C40 self levelling concrete. The free-layered MBP Pro membrane is used to chamfer using the MS Polymer sealant in combination with the pile head.

Application Notes:

MBP-P products should only be carried out by Canlon practitioners who have a qualified specialist practice certificate. The MBP Pro product is not permanently UV resistant. The MBP Pro product can be exposed for 3 months during application. It should not be applied permanently on the structural elements exposed to UV and atmospheric effects. Do not apply under prolonged rain.

Storage:

Clean and protected from direct sunlight and stored on pallets

Shelf life:

It can be stored for 1 year under suitable storage conditions.

Environmental Approach:

In CANLON MBP Pro applications, membrane and tape packages opened in the field should be disposed of in plastic recycling collection areas.
